let her press

The Way It Is available here. Limited edition of 5 made exclusively for Office.
Inspired by an excerpt from 100 Years of Solitude: it rained for 4 years, eleven months, and 2 days. I printed this on fabric which some liked and others didn’t. I think mainly because some people feel letterpress is all about paper and a deep impression. But you can print on a wide array of materials and I think it’s fun to experiment.
Lots of fabulous work from others: Subject to Change, Hammer Press, Lark Press, Studio Olivine, Satsuma Press, Egg Press…

trial & error

A trial with fabric on paper.
I can’t get enough of this song by Scout Niblett with Will Oldham.
I’ve been listening to it over and over!

in detail
Here’s a close-up snip of one of the pieces I put in Legare’s. There’s a little bit of everything in this one: tea stains, acrylic, letterpress, french knots, and pencil. I was trying new things out, experimenting.
